Sunday 13th July

Here is a quick sketch I knocked up yesterday. You might find it amusing if you read Stephen King's DARK TOWER series. It just sort of popped into my head.

Of course, the above image has been made drastically smaller. But you may like it.

A new book, THE ORCHID THIEF, arrives on Tuesday. I finished off THE QUIET AMERICAN and THE DARK TOWER III: THE WASTE LANDS today.
I might read some poetry on Monday, to while away a bit of the time. I might also work on my monster work for that 'boxer shorts book thing.
I reckon it'll be about 5,000 words now. It's not a lot.
It's just getting fucking started. Ugh. Ugh.

Watched Dead Poets Society last night. Brilliant. Inspiring, I can tell you.

"A gentle rain falls softly on my weary eyes,
As if to hide
a lonely tear.
My life will be
Forever autumn,
Cause you're not here,
Cause you're not here,
Cause you're not here..."

- the above from Forever Autumn, from The War Of The Worlds by Jeff Wayne.

Anyway. Bye.
